Designer Plus Size Fashion Dressing  Tips for Women With Curves

As a former skinny girl–who wore designer clothes religiously–blossoming from a size 4 to a size 14 in my thirties presented a real fashion challenge. I soon realized that swathing my curvy body in muumuus and tents, was not an option.

The full-figured woman I’d become, desired sweet, sexy and sophisticated plus clothing and she was not taking no for an answer.

To change my style game, without adding elastic waistbands and boxy suits to my style profile, I needed a few hints to flatter my newfound curves with the latest and greatest designer plus size fashion.

Step 1 – Add a belt to every plus size dress you own.

Ok, maybe not every plus size garment, but a wide belt will cinch you in. Use a belt to draw attention to your waist and create an illusion that thin is in your wardrobe.

Step2 – The deep V is a friend to all plus size girls.

A scoop neck top lengthens your neck and displays your best features: your face and cleavage. If you are afraid of showing too much décolletage, add a thin camisole to conceal your bosom at the office or at religious ceremonies.

Step 3- Designer plus size fashion requires undergarments to suck in those lovely lady lumps.

Shape wear belongs under your everyday fashion. It is not reserved for evening dresses and special occasions only. To create a smooth line and allow fabric to skim your frame beautifully, purchase a well-fitting bra, girdle or a support garment.

Step-4 – Choose fabrics that drape and flow across your voluptuous curves.

Jersey. Crepe. Organza. Stretch Cotton. Stretch Wool. In fact, many designer plus size garments are fashioned out of these amazing fabrics. No polyester and rayon blends for you. Indulge yourself in fabrics that will camouflage problem areas and won’t cling or bunch.

Who say’s good things don’t come in small packages? Use 4 tips to adorn yourself in plus size fashion that will flatter every inch of your frame, and create an illusion of a leaner and more fashionable you.
